Hi! My name is Adriana, and I’m an experienced and dependable childcare provider with a genuine passion for working with children. My experience caring for children started at a young age. I was born in Bolivia and moved to the United States when I was 14. Before moving, I lived with my aunt and uncle, who had four young children—ages 6, 4, 2, and a newborn. I also helped care for my 8-year-old younger brother. Since their parents worked, I became very involved in their daily care. I prepared meals, helped with baths, bedtime routines, homework, and created daily schedules to keep everyone organized and comfortable. I also helped with cooking and cleaning while managing my own schoolwork. That early experience taught me responsibility, patience, organization, independence, and how to care for children with different ages and needs. As an adult, I turned my love for working with children into Read more a career and became a preschool and pre-K teacher. My professional experience has given me a strong understanding of children’s developmental needs and how important it is to provide a safe, nurturing, structured, and fun environment. I’m someone who is reliable, patient, energetic, and easygoing. I love keeping children engaged through age-appropriate activities, creative play, music, dancing, reading, outdoor activities, and learning. I believe children learn best when they are having fun and feel safe, supported, and encouraged. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and I would be happy to speak Spanish with children if a family is interested in helping their child develop or maintain their Spanish skills. I’m also a mom to a 5-year-old, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your child. If you are comfortable with my child joining us, I would be happy to have him along. He enjoys being around other children, and I would always make sure your child’s needs and safety remain my priority.
