Hi there! I’ve gotten experience from taking care of my younger cousins who’ve come to stay with me a lot. They were 3 boys ages 2,5, and 6 and 2 girls 1 infant and a one year old. I was never paid for the position due to it being a family favor and I was just trying to help out because I knew her circumstances and my mother really enjoyed having kids running around since I was her youngest. I stopped about 3 years ago when my mother got sick and left college to care for her for almost two years before her passing. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and as it spread she was no longer able to do daily task such as feeding herself, bathing, walking and even speaking full sentences. As unfortunate as my journey sounds I’ve been able to learn a lot from every experience. Read more I’m proficient at multitasking, house cleaning, childcare, daily schedule planning, organizing, cooking, tutoring, working with disabilities, as well as pet care. Since her passing I’ve taken the time to get myself settled and back to my education. Although I may not have any experience outside of my family, I am confident I have the experience and can provide a loving and comforting environment for your children. I’ve chosen child care as passion of mine because I love the curiosity and drive in children even with all their different personalities as long as they find a way to express themselves and relieve all the energy they have they find so much joy in learning and creating. It’s always fun coming up with new activities that show off a hidden talent or new interest. I will say taking care of a newborn and such young ages has definitely influenced me to consider a career change into child care indefinitely but I feel as though babysitting/ nannying will be a great start at peaking into that thought. I genuinely enjoy taking care of others and I’m looking forward to meeting your wonderful families.
