Hi! My name is Dawn and I'm a long time Arnold resident. I was actually born and raised here and have lived here all my life. I currently live in the Harting Farm Community for over 22 years. I'm the mother of two 19 year old boy/girl twins who are now attending Anne Arundel Community College. They are great kids and are very active in our church and community. My husband and I have also been Anne Arundel County Foster Parents for over 10 years. This means that our entire family is annually background checked and our house is inspected yearly by the Department of Social Services and the Fire Marshall. Foster Care has also allowed us to care for a wide range of children from infants to teens so I have a lot experience with even the most challenging of children. We are also required to have numerous hours Read more of updated and relevant "parental" training each year. Our entire family is also CPR/AED trained in both infant and adults. I recently retired from Federal service and am now a stay at home Mom so I have plenty of time on my hands to care for children. I'm available for long term infant to toddler care but it would need to be in my own home. I'm also available for short term sitting for anyone attending AACC that needs to drop of their kids while they are in class. I live right by the College so it would be super convenient.
