Ever since I was little I knew I wanted to work with children and help them succeed. I have been working and volunteering with children for 7 years now. I first started caregiving when I was 15 years old. I worked with multiple families and I adored working with each child. Later, I volunteered at a special needs children camp and also a camp for inner-city children. There I got to learn how to work with very diverse populations. Throughout college, I continued to be a caregiver during the school year and a camp counselor during the summer. I've worked with children ages 0-14 years of age. In May 2017, I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Special Education. I am currently attending classes to receive a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in children. I currently intern at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Read more in their Child Psychiatry Preschool clinic. This internship will end at the beginning of May when my school semester ends. I provide family therapy to a diverse population of children, ages 1-6 years old, and their guardians. I am a very hard-working, reliable, and empathetic woman. I love having children use their imagination and creative side. I enjoy having the children participate in arts and crafts activities, physical activities that are indoor and outdoor, sensory-related activities, and educational activities. It will be my job to provide a fun, happy, and safe environment for your child.
