Hello, my name is Alanis! I'm am a 23 year-old attending Pratt Institute . My major currently is Illustration/graphic design. Later I wish to pursue a BFA in arts education , so expect me to want to do art projects with your child! As a native from Baltimore Maryland after graduating high school in 2018, I worked at the New Century Montessori school with age groups pre-primary to 8th grade, from 2019-2020 . Before joining the New Century staff I was an art & crafts teacher for future makers an arts and crafts job geared towards teaching children of all ages STEM and art projects years 2018-19. My last and current job when I visit back home is being a waldorf early childhood assistant teacher. The waldorf school of Baltimore focuses’ on a child sensory and awareness of the environment, we have outdoor play year round. Just like Waldorf school of Baltimore, I worked at the Brooklyn waldorf school as a preschool assistant last school year 21-22! My training consist of ADA (American's with Disabilities), and Basic health & safety training online 3-hour course. I love children with a passion and particularly have a lot of experience and really loveee working with pre-primary to primary age (1-6 ). Hope to hear from you!!
