Hello families, my name is Maia. I am 24 years old and live in Baltimore, MD. Growing up, I was always the one who really loved children, and always told my family that I would either open my own day care or work in one. This comes from following after my grandmother’s footsteps. I love being a babysitter because it gives me an opportunity to connect with children of different ages and ethnicities and get to learn about each child I work with. What sets me aside is that ever since I was young, children have bonded really well with me. Whether it was my siblings, cousins, or family friends. I was considered everyone’s babysitter because they knew their child would be safe and sound with me.
