Hello! I'm Bailey. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Psychology. I hold my Masters of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University. I have been a special education teacher in Baltimore city for two years and have taught 1st-5th grade all subjects. I have provided reading interventions and supports to students in 1st-5th grade. I have worked with a number of different reading intervention programs including Corrective Reading, Reading Signatures Mastery, and Wilson Reading. I have developed individualized reading lessons, activities, and supports for students to achieve a high level of reading growth. During my time as an educator, I have developed and implemented lessons in reading, math, science, and social studies using multiple modalities to support students from 1st-5th grade. I use a data driven approach to assess students academic progress. I engage in weekly planning session to analyze student data, assess instruction, and plan creative, hands-on lessons for students.
