Hi! My Name is Maggie Hales, I am an experienced caregiver looking for a full time summer child care position, as well as an occasional or afterschool childcare starting in MID august. I am a fully licensed Speech Language-Assistant working in the Baltimore City School System! I am offering my services as a full-time (speech specific) nanny from July 1st to August 7th. During the school year, I am also available for after school pick up, until any or all caregivers get off of work (2:30-6:00). During the school year with BCPS, I work primarily with children with special needs (ASD, neurodivergence -ADHD, down syndrome), at a local Primary School (ages 3-5). In college, however, I worked with a wide range of kids, meeting the needs in a more general education placement and school aged kiddos. My favorite thing about Maggie is how patient and gentle she is with children, especially toddlers. Her background as a speech and language teacher is apparent and shines through when she interacts with children. Maggie’s got that just right balance of warmth and strength that puts kids (and adults) at ease and helps them to feel safe. I definitely recommend her.
