I have taken an interest in caregiving for humans and animals since I was a child. It started with taking a SafeSitter course when I was in middle school. Then, I babysat a 5-year-old for about 6 months in high school until I got my very first job at McDonald's. For a while, I took a break from watching children as I knew no one who had babies/children that needed caring for and I did not have a car at the time. In terms of animals, I have watched and cared for many dogs and cats for friends and family members. I have had a strong love for animals since I was little, and have owned/taken care of many myself! I currently have two cats and help my parents care for two small dogs. I've owned reptiles, a rabbit, rats, and amphibians, so I have experience with quite a few Read more different species of animals. After graduating high school and I got a car, I was a nanny for my mom's best friend's daughter. I watched her 4-month-old until he was 9-months-old due to me needing a full-time job and her only needing a part-time nanny. Currently, I have an 8-month-old son who I love and adore with everything in me. He has given me the most experience by far with caring for children. I am a college student that is transferring to WorWic Community College from CCBC. I do not have any certifications as of right now, but I am working on getting my infant and child CPR certification for my son and my caregiving career.
