I love kids!!! I began babysitting at the age of12 and babysat other people's children until I gave birth to my own child in 1996. I have 3 children of my own, who are all almost out of the house. I have babysat all ages of children and babysat children with differing abilities. In addition to babysitting , I have been able to enjoy my favorite thing (kids) through teaching. I have a B.S. In Early Childhood Education and a M.a. In Special Education. Between having my own classroom and substituting, I have worked with all types of disabilities and and all ages. One of the things I look to do, when teaching, is create a way (activity, story, etc.) to have the kids learn without realizing that they are being taught.
