I am a 33 year old single mother to the love of my life, 8 year old daughter. I have raised her on my own since the very beginning so we have a very special and close relationship. She is friendly, caring, thoughtful and silly (and so much more! Creative, funny, adventurous, kind). My pride and joy♡ I have a very small yet extremely close family of my own so I do understand the importance of being protective and the need for assurance of safety with your loved ones, especially children. TRUST and SAFETY are of the Utmost Importance to me and those I am working with. I pride myself on being trustworthy and honest with a genuine desire for helping others. I truly believe it is important to respect a child while valuing their feelings; setting boundaries with realistic expectations; using Love, patience and positive words. Having a daughter Read more of my own, I like to think she has been my absolute best experience in providing safe, fun, educational activities throughout the day. I think there are many different ways to entertain toddlers and children without the need for television or use of devices. My household has very limited TV time so we spend a lot of our free time with fun arts and crafts, reading or being outdoors in nature, visiting parks/playgrounds, farms or even going hiking. Last year when the lockdown began, I was forced to leave my place of work. I had been a bartender for the same company for 15 years. This was devastating for me since I absolutely loved my work and the people I served and worked with. I decided to turn this crisis into a positive experience so I could focus all of my attention at home with my daughter and family. I have enjoyed the quality time spent at home, immensely. I feel as though this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to focus so much time with my daughter, uninterrupted by the previous pressures that came from time away from home with every day work and school life. I am overall very thankful and grateful for the last year and a half! Now that schools are open full time in person, it is the right time for me to get back to work. I am choosing to start this new career path by providing services for others where I can assist with child care (also elderly care or pet care). My hopes are to be able to provide a positive, trusting relationship with prospective clients and their families. I do have a CPR Certificate. My own reliable transportation. Fully vaccinated, following safety protocols.
