Hi there! My name is Grace and I am a current Senior at American University. I am originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota but now live in NW DC. I have been a nanny/babysitter since I was 12 years old and have basically never stopped. My first job was at 12 years old for a family with two young children. I was their summer and afterschool nanny. From there I became an evening and before-school babysitter for a few families in my neighborhood. I got to see these children grow into wonderful young adults and still keep in touch with them today. Since moving to DC I have worked with three families, the first was during 2020/2021 and I was working with two young boys during Montgomery County's online school year. In 2021/2022 I was a morning drive for a family of 2 children, I was always on time and created a Read more deep relationship with the family, and continue to babysit for them on some evenings. Finally, I am an occasional babysitter for another family in the Bethesda area. Additionally, for the last 3 years, I have been a swim instructor both in groups and individually. I love the opportunity to be a positive mentor and safe space in the lives of children, just as my babysitters and nannies did when I was a kid.
