I get along with most children, I find them easy to talk to and I still remember what it was like to be a child. I raised a daughter, she is an adult now and she lives nearby and I see her often. I have my daycare certification but I prefer small groups of children where I can take the time to show them skills for daily living such as simple cooking, brushing teeth, help with buttons, or tying shoe laces as needed to be learned. I worked with special needs students in the classroom setting as a blind students seeing guide and a boy who was a high functioning aspergers syndrome student.
