I am a college student perusing a career in nursing, following in my father’s footsteps. While in school I work to support myself and pay the bills. I recently recieved advice from a friend that stuck with me, “chase what you love”. Ever sense I was little I loved caring for and helping others. I always was the first to volunteer for babysitting, for helping around the house, cleaning, cooking, etc. I’ve baby watch many lil cousins, from infancy through to childhood. At my last place of employment I worked with and cared for people with differing abilities. I’ve job coached, med administered, cooked for, cleaned for, educated, transported, and entertained many wonderful and loving individuals. I want to continue chasing what I love, helping and caring for others while I work towards my degree.
