Hello :) I am a young army wife who recently moved to Maryland due to my husband's orders getting stationed here. I have TONS of creditable experience and I really enjoy the time I get to spend with little ones! I was a lifeguard for six years, so I know water safety; and I was certified in child (and adult) CPR and first aid. I also taught swim lessons. I was recently certified in Maryland as a Food Handler, so I am aware of how to safely prepare and store food! I come from a BIG family and am used to kids running around, animals of all kinds, cleaning and cooling. I have a clean driving record and a reliable car. My littlest sister is Special Needs. Responsibilities included changing, feeding, taking for walks in the stroller (I am a BIG believer in spending time outdoors), reading to the baby (I am a writing student and LOVE books), singing silly songs, playing educational games, ect... When I lived in Hawaii I was the nanny for two amazing little girls (ages 2 and 4 when I started), the babysitter for three beautiful little girls (ages 5 months, 3 years, and 5 years when I started), and the manager of a child care center, overseeing 11 other sitters in the care of 60 children (ages ranging 6 months to 10 years) three days a week!!! I truly enjoy spending time with children, of all ages. I enjoy going for walks and biking, playing sports outdoors, and picnicking in the park. I enjoy reading and helping with homework.
