They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for. I am so proud to say that I am very lucky to have many people who I love and they love me. But when I was younger, I felt scared and confused because I did not know what career path I wanted to take. Part of my problem was that I have so many interests. I love art, drawing, painting, playing music and instruments, playing sports, traveling, reading, writing, engineering, sewing, fashion, counseling, life coaching, business owning, teaching, volunteering and charity work. Finally, I discovered what kind of career would allow me to keep doing all of the things I love. Everyday, my family is getting bigger and bigger because I get to care for children from many different families. It has given me lots of wonderful experiences and the kids and their families have brought me many good memories and happiness into my life. I found my secret power and abilities that I never thought I had. I found in myself the best I could give to the world. The people around me have encouraged me through good times and supported me through bad. They believe in me and I believe in myself. They reminded me a speech of Aung San Suu Kyi, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1991. “there’s no hope without endeavor. Hope has no meaning unless we are prepared to work to realize our hopes and dreams but in order to what we do need to have friends. We need those who believe in us. Friends are those who believe in us and who want to help us whatever it is that we are trying to achieve.” I would like to say welcome to new friends who meet me here. She is ALWAYS on time! Interacts equally well with my 12 year old son and my 5 year old daughter. She plays basketball and makes food for my son. She colors, draws, and plays games with my daughter. She helps with cleaning & cooking, keeps them safe and is a real gem!!
