I have been babysitting newborns, infants and toddlers since I was eleven years old. Living on a cul-de-sac, and being one of the oldest children (now adult) I was able to form bonds with all of the sixteen children that reside here. Other then sitting on evenings out for the families, I have spent long weekends, gone on vacations, and tended to their children when emergencies have arisen. Over the past few years, I have had long-term nanny positions, one family during the school year and another over the summer. The children were eight, seven and eleven years old. On occasions I would get the kids on the bus, if the parents needed to get to work early. Otherwise, I got them off the bus, did school work, took them to sporting activities and sometimes fed them dinner. I do have several references that you can contact if necessary.
