Hello! My name is Tylia Fountaine and I'm a recent graduate from Temple University. I have numerous passionate interests and this shows in my work history as I have experience in various fields of different backgrounds. Despite this, I have been great at working with kids for years and I am greatly involved in child care services to this day. I love children and believe in the depths of my heart that they are to be cared for and treated with tenderness by any and all adults. My most recent experience in regards to child care involves both the school system and voluntary service. Since October of 2022 I had been working as a teacher in both middle and elementary schools. This job required a lot of energy and I made it my mission to always maintain a positive, kind attitude when dealing with students as well as their teachers. Read more I've just recently left this position and I am actively looking for work elsewhere. Additionally, I serve at my church as an infants/nursery and pre-school caregiver. I love caring after the sweet infants in the nursery and I take the responsibility of being trusted with someone else's child very seriously. One thing that I find sets me apart is that I am able to identify with each child and intuitively read into whatever emotions they may or may not be openly showing. This has proved extremely helpful in the case of de-escalating tense situations, finding a means of communication with naturally quieter children, and disagreements between 2 or more children.
