Hello! I am new to the area and currently seeking a family interested in childcare provided in my home. While I do not have formal professional babysitting experience, I have been caring for children within my family since I was 13 years old. I changed my first diaper at age seven, and as the second oldest of nine children—and now a mother of two—I am very comfortable caring for little ones of all ages. My most recent paid childcare experience was caring for my sister’s infant, who is now a year old. During the COVID period, I also supported her family by babysitting and homeschooling her 5-year-old and 18-month-old while caring for my own 3-year-old at the same time. Regardless of relationship, I treat every child in my care with the same attentiveness, respect, and compassion I give my own. I am CPR and First Aid certified, a nonsmoker, and Read more enjoy preparing nutritious meals. I love taking children on walks, visiting parks and libraries, and planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and projects. I have a school-aged daughter and a 3-year-old son, so traveling to another family’s home would significantly limit my availability. While I am open to it, my hours would be reduced. Ideally, I would prefer consistent hours—either the same each day or a clearly defined schedule—but I am flexible and willing to discuss options with the right family. I am also happy to provide meals and snacks or follow any dietary guidelines, preferences, or lifestyle choices a family prefers. I understand the tremendous responsibility involved in caring for someone else’s child. Entrusting your child to another person—especially someone new—can be emotionally challenging, and I do not take that trust lightly. I am committed to maintaining open communication, offering regular updates, sending photos, and remaining reachable at all times while your child is in my care.
