Hello, My name is Jaylyn! I am a rising senior at The Ohio State University. I'm a charismatic, loving, self-assured, dependable, upbeat, and practical person. I love to dance, travel internationally, take pictures, find new and creative ways to approach tasks, and dine at different international restaurants. I have experienced in working with kids, as a nanny, a camp counselor, and dance teacher. I have two siblings age 12 and 10, and definitely was their babysitter/nanny when my parents went away. I have one dog, name Chloe who is Shih Tzu and Jack terrier mix, who loves to make sure I am always active. I love working children between the age of 6-11 specifically that is a very prominent age to watch and a child grow. I noticed when babysitting and being a camp counselor that age is filled with curiosity, adventures, excitement, learning social skills and cues, adapting and Read more learning more physical activity, learning how to use their mental abilities while being intellectual, and learning how to differentiate between problem and solution. I am currently receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and minor in education. I have discovered inclusive physical activities for the kids I work with thanks to my expertise in the arts. I urge the kids to put down their phones and engage in fun activities like physical exercise or critical thinking. I take the lead in every situation I find myself in, and I firmly believe that in order to properly care for children, one must also act as a role model for the younger generation. Along with leading, I also make sure everyone I have around me is protected. I will look out for and guarantee the safety of any kids in my vicinity. I care for all children as if they were my own.
