Care-giving has been a lifelong passion of mine. As the 2nd oldest of 8 children, I've been caring for children for as long as I remember. At the age of 10, I decided I wanted to be like the characters of my favorite book series, The Babysitters Club, and become an official babysitter. This desire to care and teach followed me through out middle school, high school and college where I continued to babysit and began tutoring and mentoring. Upon graduating from the University of Maryland, I became a middle school Special Education teacher and later transitioned into a position at a youth advocacy non-profit organization. As I transition into this next phase of my life, pursuing my Masters at American University, I hope to continue my passion of caring for children through a position as a nanny.
