Preface: I am looking to provide care in MY home, but transportation may be available. I am a wife and mother of 4. Our children are 4, 7, 9, and 18. My two middle children will be attending school from 8:30-3:30 and our oldest is enrolled at The New School Manhattan, but is currently attending virtually. I am currently getting my Master's in Human Services and have worked with families and children my entire life. I am HIGHLY qualified with over 20 years experience caring and educating children, and can provide educational based play, meals, physical activity including walks, field trips (library, playground, etc when deemed safe by you) transportation, etc. We can create a lesson plan together or have a more free-child centered day. My parent's owned and operated 12 childcare facilities and a private school, where I worked from age 15. Our family lives in downtown Hagerstown. We Read more have a wonderful classroom setup, plenty of space for exploring, yoga area, a trampoline, a play set, and an above ground (locked) pool (for gym and physical fitness needs), as well as a dedicated music room with multiple guitars, a keyboard, and other musical instruments for music lessons. I can personally teach beginner (elementary) Spanish and piano, as well. I am also offering tutoring and/or care while the kids do their virtual learning. One of my children will be present during the day, learning alongside. I have a current drivers license with NO tickets or accidents ever and a 8 passenger van if transportation is needed. My household is very funny, loud, busy, but loving and kind! We do have a large dog, but he is wonderfully sweet and snuggly. I am happy to provide a background check for myself and my husband, upon request. We will provide drinks and snacks, outdoor time, all school supplies, and a safe and happy place to work.
