All my childcare experience comes from being the oldest sister of four children. Growing up with a single mother, I quickly became independent and learned how to play her role when she wasn’t there. This is where my maternal nature came from. Now I am in college studying to become a pediatrician one day because I realized I love taking care of kids. In high school I got more experience when I taught at a preschool/ daycare for 2 years. Meanwhile I was also taking child development classes. I loved teaching the children because it gave me a chance to apply what I learned in my child development courses in real life. The youngest student I had was 2, and the oldest was 6.
