Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a compassionated, caring, loving, honest, reliable and energetic African American female. Family and friends call me Monique and my daycare kids use to call me aunti mo. Loved it! :-) I love building relationships that will last. I have a heart for helping those in need. If youa re in need of child care or campanion care, I can help. I have experience with children and I have two adult children. I also had daycare in my home when my children were smaller. I also have experience with seniors. Both are the most rewarding job. I have worked in law firms for many years and took leave to care for a family member so passing a background check or drug test is not an issue. I don't wish to go back to the law firm. I would rather follow my Read more passion and help a loving family who is in need. I cook, can do housekeeping, laundry, fun activities and more. I am upbeat and love to laugh. I myself have been married for 25 years and my husband and I love living in the Laurel, Md. area. I love being able to help others and I have a passion for seeing the world in the eyes of children and having wonderful conversations with seniors. Fondness for children and seniors is the main reason I choose to do this. It's not about the money it's about helping a great family and living out my passion. In my spare time I enjoy time with my family and friends, reading, writing poetry and community service. I started the Laurel Ladies Health and Wellness group for ladies over 40 to become more active. For now, that is my baby.
