I am a mother to a healthy and energetic 3 year old but even before he was a part of our lives, I had always been very capable and responsible with children. Babysitting was one of my first jobs, and I don't just mean at home taking care of my siblings. My youngest sister was born when I was 13 so I got to learn about infant care fairly young and it stuck with me when my son was born. I've taken CPR classes before, though I am due to retake them, and have successfully put that and the heimlich to use ( on adults but it's still good to know!).
