Makenzie seems to be a bit unprofessional and immature with communication. We posted a job opening and she reached out to us expressing interest. We provided her with options for a virtual chat which she agreed upon. On the day/time of the interview, we called her at the number she provided. She answered the phone and when we announced ourselves, she just hung up on us. We sent her a text message to check on her and received no response or follow up. If she was no longer interested in the position, it would have been easier and more professional to send us a quick message letting us know that. We could have used that time slot for another applicant.
