I started working with children in 2012 at an after school program when I was a senior in high school. From there, I got a nannying position for the summers with two different families at the school. I would be at their home from morning until the evening. one of the families i started with had a child in kindergarten whom is now in the 6th grade and I still am a sitter for them on nights or weekends that they are out late. Needless to say, I take pride in the relationships I have built with these families over the years. I have studied Education and Human development at Pennsylvania State University Park. I am finishing the last year of my studies on Penn States world campus (online) so I could live here in Maryland. Amber was a no show, no call, no nothing. After doing all my due diligence and confirming the dates more than 3 times, she didn’t show up, couldn’t get a hold of her and didn’t send a message. Never heard anything again and left us in a bind after relying on her commitment. Very disappointing.
