Hello! My name is Nailah and I'm a 20 year-old, college student who has a passion for children. I enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, dogs, and cooking! I'm a Sunday school teacher at my church and I'm CPR certified. I value education, creativity, and fitness- just to name a few. I know basic sign language and enjoy introducing this in my communication with children. Every year I volunteer with the Special Olympics Maryland, and I've loved every single minute of it! I keep in contact with our athletes even after the event. I have experience with youth as well as infants/toddlers. I cared for my niece from 0-7months from 8am-3pm while my sister worked. Since then she's now able to stay at home with her which affords me the opportunity to care for someone else's child! I am extremely passionate about children and I find them to be pure, full-of-life, and Read more simply a joy to be around. As stated before, I'm a college student attending Towson University in the fall (this leaves quite a bit of free-time for the next 9 months) I'm studying elementary education to fulfill my dreams of being a teacher. I typically teach Sunday school in a class of about 5 students on average (from ages 3-9). During my free-time, I enjoy taking a run through my local park, baking, and reading. My absolute favorite thing to do is to relax at the beach or pool when the weather permits! I hope to be able to help your family as best as I can with childcare, light housekeeping, and anything else you may require me to do. I have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record.
