I spent the previous six years as a teacher in Prince George's County, with 5 of those years spent as a special education teacher. I am currently in my first year of the Master of Social Work program at the University of Maryland. I spent the past summer as an aide to a wonderful five year old boy with cerebral palsy, and I have experience working with children with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional disorders (I am available to tutor as well). My first job as a teenager was as a camp counselor, and from that point on I found that working with children was a true passion of mine. I hope to use my experience with child care to provide a safe and fun environment for your children, and to take the worry out of enjoying yourselves while away from them!
