Hello families! I am an 18 year old who is looking for a part time job while I am taking a semester off from College to get my EMT certification. I have worked with children for about 6 years now, starting at a local church where I helped out with infants in the child care center. When I was in middle school I was able to take a babysitting course where I have kept all the skills that I learned in that course, i.e; changing dipers, feeding, putting the child to bed/down for a nap. I also have two young nieces who I have helped my sister with since they were newborns. They are now 3 and 5 and I still enjoy taking care of them and spending time with them. For the past three years I have worked at St. Paul's Summer Camp as a camp counselor. Every year Read more I look forward to returning and working with either the same group or a different group. When I am there I tend to work with age group 7-10, however I have worked with 3-4 & 5-6 as well. One summer I was able to work with a young girl with diabetes and I learned how to properly care for her. I am CPR certified. I also have my own car as well as a clean driving record. I always go above and beyond to insure that everything is done correctly, and so that I can live up to the expectations of the families and child's needs. If you're family has animals I am a huge animal lover and will be happy to include taking care of the animal(s) as well.
