My name is Emily, and I have had the honor of watching and guiding 4 children since their birth. I was 14 when the oldest was born and I was asked by my sister to be their babysitter and watch the child while they worked. Now the child has 3 younger siblings and I still take on the role of babysitter. I also have done babysitting for friends and family and have always been given opportunities to continue watching their children. Recently I got the opportunity to be a teaching assistant for Hot Spots Extended Care Program and I truly love it. Helping kids grow emotionally, and prosper academically is what truly warms my heart. I recently moved to Cecil County so the commute to work is a little much for me, so I'm looking for an opportunity in my new area.
