Hi there! I'm Helena, an Astoria-based babysitter and actor. I have been caring for children since the age of 13, when I started as a mother’s helper in my neighborhood. Since then, I have cared for children of all ages, developing long-lasting relationships with families in New York and the DC area. In addition to at-home babysitting, I have worked as a camp counselor leading as many as 15 children in theater arts-related activities. Thanks to my years of acting, I love to draw out and creatively engage with kids’ boundless imaginations. Playing pretend, acting out favorite stories and making up silly songs are some of my favorite activities. I also love arts and crafts of all kinds.
