Hello, my name is Sophia Ubiera, I am a freshman at the University Maryland College Park participating in the honors humanities program My experiences include: Working wiith children as a soccer referee for 4 years. As well as 4 years of babysitting kids for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Furthermore, being an assistant teacher at my CCD classes for 3 years, as well as working for the Smithsonian as a youth assistant teacher for 2 years. Moreover, I’ve been a Pre-Ballet teacher for 2 years. Finally I’ve got some experience tutoring children, through a club I made at school, and babysitting my own nieces and nephews! I love working with and being around children of all age group, so much so I hope to become a neuropsychologist for children!

Sophia was prompt and professional and got along well with my 4th grade daughter (age 10). I felt comfortable during the 3 weeks that she worked with us that my daughter was cared for and safe. Her responsibilities included helping with homework, driving my daughter to/from activities after school and feeding her breakfast and an after school meal. Would recommend and use again!
