My name is Katie! I am a Dietetics Student at JMU. I am looking for babysitting or nannying jobs this summer in the Harrisonburg area! I have held several babysitting jobs for lots of families in high school, however I gained most of my experience while working as a counselor at a sleep-away summer camp. For 8 weeks during the summer of 2018, I was the main counselor for fourteern 6 and 7-year-old girls. I lived in-bunk with them, ate with them, played with them and cared for them. The experience allowed me to learn a lot about caring for children especially while their parents are far away. I was the leader for these girls and had to ensure they had fun in a safe way. I will be in Harrisonburg all summer, I have a car and am most available weekday mornings and any nights.
