I am the mother of an 8 year old son with autism. Twice a month I teach rhythmic movement to individuals in wheelchairs and I teach 2 cooking classes a month to adults with autism. I am also the Founder/CEO of F.A.C.E. (Facing Autism with Children Everywhere). We've been in existence since January of 2013 and in January of 2014 we opened our respite care center "F.A.C.E.'s Place". We care for approximately 10 children per session that range from high functioning to severe autism and Down's Syndrome. Ever since my son received his diagnosis, I've been extremely passionate about serving the special needs community.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
