Hello my name is Paige! I am a 22 year old University of Maryland graduate! I just returned from an AmeriCorps service term in New Mexico and am home (Maryland) indefinitely for a few summer months. I would love to take on baby-sitting opportunities during this time. My schedule is wide open at the moment and I do have a car. Being the eldest of four children has provided me with immeasurable childcare experience. During my childhood, I watched as my parents went through many different nannies and after school activity drivers, always on the hunt for someone reliable and trustworthy. I surely bring those attributes to the table, in addition to my love for cooking, crafts and the outdoors. I have also worked as a babysitter for many families over the years with children of all ages. Some of my other work experience includes: lifeguarding, service industry positions, and Read more farm-hand jobs. I am hardworking, responsible, organized (an amazing cleaner), kind, and assertive when necessary. A little bit more about me...I spent the past summer working on a farm in Hawaii. This experience prompted me to really consider my priorities and how I want to spend my free time. I adore being around children and the unique qualities that they bring into our lives. These days, I value not taking myself so seriously, which is something that can be difficult to stay true to as we age. My mother is an elementary school teacher which has greatly influenced how I think about raising a child. I understand how crucial adolescence is in an individuals development, so I hope that I can bring some new hobbies, perspectives and energy into someones life! --I also have my own car and am vaccinated.
