Hi, I'm Melissa! Email is melllbelle20@gmail.com Anyone who knows me knows I'm a super friendly, nice, energetic and respectful person! I also love to smile which always makes the little ones smile. I'm always happy to be around the little ones and always patient. I have my own car and am more than okay with pets, especially dogs! I'm CPR and first aid certified by the American Heart Association via requirements for nursing school clinicals. I'm currently going into the RN program at Carroll Community College's nursing school program and am looking for small side jobs to be able to continue to work while in school but not be overwhelmed with regular hours. I absolutely love kids and would be thrilled to have the opportunity to take care of them. Your kids would be safe in my hands. I volunteered one summer for a week of Vacation Bible school working Read more with 4-10 year old children. We did crafts, played games, set up meals and played outside. During that one week I realized I already had plenty of previous experience with this age group based on spending time with family pre-k through elementary school kids. I have taken an in-depth psychology childhood development class so I do know the basics of each stage of a child's psychological development and what to expect from them. One thing about my lack of experience professional, however, is that I've never babysat infants or toddlers for long periods of time, HOWEVER I do learn fast and have observed friends and family taking care of their little ones. I would love to someday work in pediatrics in a hospital or the emergency room so you can bet that I'm both gentle and fast on my feet. 4+ would work perfectly for me because even though I lack professional experience I am very great with kids and very social. We would get along great and have lots of fun while still getting all homework and routines completed. I will be available every single weekend for sure after August 29th and once I get my schedule, I will be able to tell you more about my weekday schedule.
