I love exploring the world (especially the small stuff), and the opportunity to share that type of experience with children excites me to no end. I enjoy practicing yoga, reading, hiking, dancing, and most of all, laughing. I base most of my childcare principles on the teachings of Maria Montessori but lately I have incorporated Waldorf principles as well. I enjoy spending as much time outside as possible, especially when accompanied by the imagination of children. I like to limit if not eliminate the time children spend looking at screens during my time with them, but I, of course, have no problem helping kids set up online learning or tutoring. I am plant based and would prefer a position where cooking meat is not necessary, though I love to make healthy snacks and can even meal prep if required. I am CPR and 1st aid certified by the American Red Read more Cross; I am a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. I have my Associates Degree from Howard Community College. I hope to soon start a online Child Please be aware I have a two year old daughter Zofia whom I expect to accompany me during working hours.
