I raised 3 successful children who are caring individuals. I'm a true believer in conversation, good listening, and teaching through example. It is my opinion that children need positive role models and mentors, I consider myself both. I was a very active and involved mother. I'm creative, caring and I believe in engaging children in fun activities, play dates, walks, crafts, games, reading, cooking, and I love watching children grow in their independence. I devoted many years of my life developing and running a community non profit which taught parenting classes. I supervised a residential treatment facility for children who were emotionally disturbed and more recently l worked with adults with intellectual disabilities as well as a variety of mental illnesses. I moved to Maine 3 years ago and I'm currently trying to slowing my life down.
