Hi there! My name is Matthew, and I’m a dependable, compassionate caregiver with experience in family nannying, babysitting, daycare support, and Pre-K classroom assistance. Originally from Maine, I grew up as the fourth of five siblings, and caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. My background includes musical theatre, dance, yoga instruction, and wellness coaching, which helps me bring a creative, engaging, and thoughtful energy into childcare. I love creating an environment where kids feel safe, encouraged, and genuinely supported, whether we’re working on homework, doing imaginative activities, spending time outdoors, or simply making day-to-day routines feel positive and calm. I’m CPR, AED, and First Aid certified, have training in child safety and medication administration, and am comfortable working with children of many different personalities, abilities, and support needs, including neurodivergence and behavioral challenges.
