I am a retired nurse, live right here in Hallowell. I love children. My experience with babysitting began years ago... as a young girl, in the 6th grade...when my math teacher asked me if I'd help babysit his children when he and his wife would go out on occasional dates/outings. Then when I was 21years old they recruited me back into baby sitting services but this time it was for a 3-month around the clock Nannie position; because they were building their home in a one summer time- frame, due to their work deadline...as Roland needed to return to teaching in the fall and his wife had a full time job. I have many wonderful memories of this adventure. After receiving a Behavioral Science BS degree in 1987, was invited to go to Finland and teach children English in a private kindergarten setting...ages ranging between 2 to 8 years [as Read more formal education does not begin for children there until they are 8 years old]. My contract was extended for an additional year which I happily consented to...
