My name is Katie and I am an energetic and upbeat elementary school teacher with a Masters in Elementary and Special Education from Lesley University looking for childcare and tutoring opportunities during the school year in the evenings and weekends. I have been babysitting, nannying, a camp counselor, a tutor, or a teacher for 17 years total and am originally from Maine. While at Dartmouth College, I studied Psychology and English, tutored local children, and also babysat. I really enjoy babysitting because I connect with children well and always find a way for everyone to have fun! I will be going into my 7th year teaching grades K-2. This year I will be at a public charter school in Jersey City and have previously worked at an international school in Malaysia and a public school in Washington, DC.
