I am an energetic and enthusiastic young woman that adores children. So far, my entire work life has revolved around working with children. I have worked as a summer camp counselor, full time babysitter, horseback riding instructor, and Ed Tech in pre-K, elementary, and middle schools. I also have three years of experience leading a 4H group. I have a state of Maine criminal history background check certificate as well as a state of Maine level two para-educator certificate. I went to college for education and received an Associate in Arts in Liberal Studies with a focus in K-8 education. I am continuing my education online to get a Bachelor’s degree with hopes to get a Master’s in education as well. I feel very strongly about children getting as much from their education as possible. I have a passion for children’s lives being literacy rich and hope that you do Read more as well. Working in a school district has given me the skills to help children better understand what they are learning in school as well as teach concepts in all academic areas as well as strong reading skills. I have also worked as a nanny with toddlers and young children as well as children with special needs.
