Hello! My name is Alyssa True (19) and I have years of experience with childcare. I first became interested in babysitting/ working in the childcare field when I attended daycare. I would help my babysitter preform daily tasks and help with the younger children. When I entered middle school I began babysitting for my neighbors and when I entered high school I began volunteering at the local elementary school. After I graduated high school I heard about a job opening at a local daycare. In August of 2015 I was offered a position as a teacher at Levers Daycare. I started out working with the school age program and then I became a floater which allowed me to work with all different ages of children. When a position opened up in the 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 room I jumped at the opportunity. I have been working with the three Read more and four year olds for about a year and a half and I wouldn't change a thing! I look forward to going into work everyday because no two days are the same. Throughout the past two years I have taken a few college classes pertaining to Early Childhood Education and I have taken trainings through Maine Roads to Quality. I have been trained on what to do incase a child has a seizure (have had experience with seizures) and as of 2016 I am CPR/First Aid certified.
