I love working with kids, and have been doing so for about six years now in a variety of ways. In high school and in my first year of college, I volunteered at local preschools, assisting with lunch, lesson planning, reading, and simply having fun with the kids on the playground. Since then, I have primarily worked with kids in after-school settings leading garden clubs where I teach kids about gardening, animals, and learning to love the outdoors. But I also love being with kids inside--playing board games, reading books, and doing arts and crafts with kids are things I never tire of. I care deeply about helping children learn about the world and their interests, and am excited to continue this work through babysitting.
