I just recently left my position in Special Education at Portland Public Schools to stay home with my 21 month old son. I have been working with K-5 students for 4 years, and have experience sitting for younger children prior to that. I think learning can be a part of every activity, and am especially good with helping kiddos learn how to properly express their needs using positive behaviors. I am well versed in sleep training & cognitive leaps. I love going on walks/hikes, playing music, dancing and fun crafts, and enjoy doing those all of those things with my son. I am hoping to find a position where I can bring my son with me. I have been CPR trained in the past and will be renewing my certification as soon as possible.
