Hello! My name is Katherine and I am a senior at the University of Maine on track to be a speech language pathologist. I was a soccer coach to children ages 2-15 for about 8 years. I was a child care associate at a YMCA for a few months (ended due to Covid-19) and was a behavioral health professional to children ages 3-7 from summer 2023 to present! I have also babysat/nannied for a family of 2 young boys for 3 years. Starting ages were 1 and 3, and now they are 4 and 6! I love being around kids. I have a lot of experience working with them and I love all age groups. Being a behavioral health professional working with kids with severe disabilities, I would support them and direct them through daily tasks as well as learning units such as teaching them prepositions, sight words, appropriate behavior, Read more and more.
