Hi, My name is Alexis and here is a little about me as a childcare professional! I have worked with children for my entire life and professionally for about 12 years. I started when I was 13 years old as a summer nanny for a family out of state. I would take the kids to the park, make crafts, helped getting the older child ready for preschool, and potty training the younger one. When I was in high school I started working for a local daycare before and after school as well as full time in the summer. While working in the daycare I lead morning circles, planned activities, and meal prepped. After high school I went on to College and on the side I worked at an afterschool program with children 5years-10years. After college I started a job as a behavioral health professional at a public school in Lewiston Read more and after about a year became a kindergarten teacher. I’ve been working in kindergarten for about 3 years now and enjoy every minute of it. I have experience with just about everything kid related from infancy-preteen and even have two foster toddlers myself.
