Rita did a fabulous job caring for our 7 month old while we were visiting Ogunquit, Maine. Rita communicated well with us leading up to and during the babysitting gig, and she was very playful and caring with our baby. We look forward to hiring Rita again for the next time we are visiting the area!

Hi! I’m Lorelei. I just moved back to Maine after spending the past three years living in Japan. Right now, I’m teaching art at the Middle School of the Kennebunks and working toward my master’s degree in Art Education. I’ve worked with kids of all ages, from four months to teenagers. I’ve been a nanny for several families and have also done lots of date night and event babysitting. Over the years, I’ve worked in several daycare settings, special education classrooms, and directed summer camps. I love working with kids and bringing creativity into everything I do. I’m currently available for occasional babysitting opportunities and am open to some more regular hours during the summer before the school year begins. I’m reliable, patient, and always happy to jump into crafts, games, or anything your kids are into. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat or see if it’s a good fit!

Lorelei is fantastic. She watched our kiddos during a family vacation to Maine. She was responsive, professional, and great with our two high-energy five-year-old boys.

Amy has been a nanny for more than two years to our two young children who are now ages 3 and 6. Outside of being flexible, reliable, punctual and extremely loyal, she has a heart of gold and has loved our children as her own. She has used her early childhood education degree to teach early academic concepts, do various arts and crafts projects and created an environment of sharing and turn-taking. She initiates bi-weekly library trips, visits to the animal farms, walks on the beach, exploring the backyard with magnifying glasses (just to name a few) all on her own. She has given our girls routine and structure, helped provide healthy meals and is extremely conscious of their safety. Amy is also a reliable driver who takes them to swimming class, soccer practice and preschool. She also helps around the house by assisting the girls with their chores of putting away laundry, sweeping floors and watering plants. She encourages their independence — including potty training, putting on their own shoes, their own clothes, brushing their teeth and washing themselves in the bath. Amy is excellent about outdoor time even in the chilly weather; she has taught them how to ride bikes, scoot scooters, pump their legs on the swings and build snowmen. She is a great friend with a great sense of humor who has taught and uses good manners, is excellent at kissing boo-boos and gives great goodbye hugs at the bus stop. Any family would be lucky to have Amy!

I live in South Berwick, Maine. I worked full time at a childcare in York for the past 11 years. I just recently switched jobs to become a nanny. I currently work part time for two different families. Starting in mid November I will have availability for nannying two days a week. I have no children myself, but I love kids and I love spending time with them. I have been working with children for about 15 years both as a babysitter and in a child care setting. I have worked with children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years. I am both CPR and First Aid certified. I also have my CDA.

Kathleen was wonderful in providing care to our infant and our friends' infant, while we were in town for a wedding. Kathleen was warm, communicative, and gave us full confidence to go out and enjoy our evenings with the babies well taken care of. Would definitely work with Kathleen again!

Hi! I’m a reliable, patient, and organized sitter with experience caring for both children and pets. I grew up helping care for my younger brothers and currently live with a 4-year-old, so I’m very comfortable with young children and busy routines. I also work in healthcare doing 12-hour shifts, which means I’m CPR certified, calm under pressure, and available multiple days throughout the week. I’m well versed in autism, learning challenges, and creating a supportive environment where kids feel safe, understood, and encouraged. I’ve always loved school and enjoy helping with learning activities, crafts, story time, and outdoor adventures. Whether your child loves imaginative play or your pet needs extra patience and care, I always aim to create a fun, safe, and positive experience for every family I work with! I do work full time, doing 12-13 hour shifts. But that means I have 4 days a week available to accommodate your needs! I look forward to meeting you (:

Hi, my name is Ali Machinski and I have been working with children since I was a child myself. I grew up in a daycare and my love for kids began there. I’ve been a nanny for a family of three, worked 5 years as a counselor, sub teacher, and many other tasks within that position as well as running an infant classroom. Infants personally have my heart and I am a college student who is on the nursing track to become a postpartum/labor and delivery nurse.
