I just finished my 20th year as a second and third teacher. l graduated 8 years ago with my Master's in Education. I have had 20+ years of childcare experience. I have been a nanny or babysitter for over 20years. I was a babysitter starting in high school and continued on the side until college. While in college I was a nanny through Beacon Hill Nannies and lived in New York as a live in nanny. The following summers I have been a nanny in Falmouth, Yarmouth, Cumberland, Cape Elizabeth,Freeport, Kennebunkport ,Scarborough and Boothbay Harbor. I have also done multiple nanny jobs in New York and throughout New England. I have been a nanny for children ages new born twins to twelve years old. I have great references as well. At my behavioral health professional job, I provided the students, ages 3-6, with support and direction, helping them get through their day, taught different types of learning, consisting of sight words, prepositions, peer play, following direction tasks, behavior management, coping skills, and appropriate communication. Similarly, working as a nanny for two families, I watched after and provided care for an infant and toddler, and provided care for a 3-month-old for the other family. I also completed housekeeping duties of preparing milk/formula, cleaning dishes/bottles, laundry, and picking up around the house. As a soccer coach, I coached ages 3-15, around 8-15 kids, teaching soccer techniques, drills, foot skills, good sportsmanship, and teamwork. My specialty is birth to 12 mo. but have enjoyed all ages. My hourly rate is $24-25 for 1 child depending on what is needed, $27 for 2 children, $20-25 for single events. Included: simple meal prep for the baby, dishes, tidying toys at day's end, minimal pet care. Nannying is my sole income, so like a daycare, I am paid a weekly salary to hold that timeslot for the duration of the assignment.
